Safety Regulations & Requirements

God’s Modulated Miracles Run Club

Safety Regulations and Member Requirements

To ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone, all members of God’s Modulated Miracles Run Club must agree to and follow the safety regulations below. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal from group activities or revocation of membership.

1. General Health and Fitness

  • Members must be physically able and or medically cleared to participate in running and physical activity.

  • If you feel unwell, injured, or experience symptoms like dizziness, shortness of breath, or chest pain, do not participate in the run.

  • Stay hydrated and properly nourished before and after each session.

2. Visibility and Apparel

  • Wear bright, reflective clothing when running in low-light conditions (early morning, dusk, or night).

  • Proper running shoes must be worn during all runs to reduce the risk of injury.

  • Weather-appropriate clothing is required (e.g., layers in cold weather, sunscreen in heat).

3. Personal Safety

  • No headphones or earbuds allowed during group runs unless only in one ear — you must remain aware of your surroundings.

  • Run facing traffic when running on roads without sidewalks.

  • Always obey all traffic signals, pedestrian crossings, and local laws.

  • No reckless or aggressive behavior will be tolerated.

  • Inform a run leader or fellow member if you need to stop or leave early.

4. Group Etiquette

  • Stay with the group or within eyesight — do not go off route alone unless previously communicated.

  • Respect the pace and space of fellow runners. Alert others before passing (“on your left”).

  • Keep sidewalks and paths clear for non-club pedestrians and cyclists.

  • Pets or strollers may be allowed on designated family or casual run days only (with prior notice).

5. Emergency Preparedness

  • Members must carry a phone or emergency contact information on their person.

  • Notify the run leader of any medical conditions or allergies that may require attention.

  • First aid kits may be available, but members should be prepared with their own basic supplies if needed (e.g., inhalers, glucose tablets, etc.).

6. Respect and Conduct

  • Treat all members and the public with respect, kindness, and encouragement.

  • No harassment, discrimination, or foul language will be tolerated.

  • Alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited during any club activities.

7. Weather & Environmental Awareness

  • Runs may be canceled or rescheduled in the event of extreme weather (lightning, ice, excessive heat).

  • Be mindful of your physical limits in extreme conditions and adjust your pace accordingly.

  • Stay on designated paths and respect local parks, trails, and public property.

8. COVID-19 or Communicable Illness Precautions

(as applicable)

  • If you are experiencing symptoms of illness, do not attend.

  • Follow any public health guidance that may be in place at the time (masking, distancing, etc.).

By participating in any God’s Modulated Miracles Run Club activities, you agree to abide by all safety regulations and conduct expectations. Your safety and the safety of the group is our top priority.
